Mrs. Kelly Albert
Music Teacher (grd. K-12)

Mrs. Albert is a new addition to the Coulee Christian School staff this year.  She studied Music Education at Viterbo University and at the University of Minnesota.  She teaches music for Kindergarten through twelfth grades at Coulee Christian School and also serves as the Head Coach for the girls volleyball team.  She loves to spend time with her family and friends, LOVES reading (the Bible and non-fiction Christian books), traveling, and enjoys several ministries she is involved with at her church.  Mrs. Albert has two favorite Bible verses:  Isaiah 6:8 and Ephesians 3:20-21.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send?  And who will go for us?"  And I said, "Here am I.  Send me!" - Isaiah 6:8

Mrs. Becky Bowman
1st & 2nd Grade Teacher

Mrs. Bowman is a cum laude graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Outdoor Education.  Her favorite Bible verses are Luke 2:1-14 and the entirety of Psalm 100.

And suddenly there appear with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is well pleased." - Luke 2:13-14

Miss Cassie Engen

Miss Engen is a new addition to the Coulee Christian School teaching staff this year.  She graduated from Crown College with degrees in Elementary Education and Biblical Studies and received her teaching license through the state of Minnesota.  When not teaching, Miss Engen enjoys photography, horseback riding, and reading.  Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 37:4.

Mrs. Julie Gilbert
5th & 6th Grade Teacher

Mrs. Gilbert is a graduate from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.  She has a Bachelor of Science; her major was Junior High Education with an emphasis on Language Arts and Social Studies.  In addition to having her Wisconsin teaching license, she is certified to teach grades 6-12 in the state of Illinois.  Before teaching at Coulee Christian School, Mrs. Gilbert was a full-time staff member of Campus Crusade for Christ at Cornell University, UCLA, and Southern Illinois University.  She also taught for twenty years at Heritage Christian Schools in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She and her husband have three adult sons.  She enjoys learning the piano, playing the flute, and writing.  Mrs. Gilbert's favorite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20.

Mrs. Cindi Hatlevig
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher & Director, Art Teacher (grd. 1-12)

Mrs. Hatlevig graduated from Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota, with a Bachelor's degree with a major in Education and a minor in Social Studies.  She immediately came to Coulee Christian School as a Kindergarten teacher.  After spending some time at home being a wife and mother, she is now back as the Director of our Pre-Kindergarten program and is also our 1-12 Art and 1-6 Music teacher.  Outside of teaching, her interests are art, worship music, as well as her kids and family.  Mrs. Hatlevig's favorite Bible passage is the entirety of Psalm 91.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in Whom I trust!" - Psalm 91:1-12

Mrs. Christen Helgerson

Mrs. Helgerson graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, earning a Bachelor of Science.  Her major was English, and her minor was Spanish.  Mrs. Helgerson is a former Youth Director and Trainer for Tentmakers (an organization that provides Christ-centered leadership training for churches, pastors, youth leaders, and young people).  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  Mrs. Helgerson's favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 3:17b-19.

...and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fulness of God. - Ephesians 3:17b-19

Mr. Nehring graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadfield Social Studies.  Mr. Nehring also teaches Physical Education for our first through twelfth graders.  In addition to teaching, Mr. Nehring has served as a coach for some of our athletic teams and is the Senior Class Advisor.  Mr. Nehring enjoys the outdoors and sports.  His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 17:18.

Mrs. Sabrina Cuéllar Ross
3-year-old Pre-School Teacher, Spanish Teacher (grd. 1-12), Bible Teacher (grd. 7-8)

Mrs. Ross is a graduate from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  She has her Bachelor's degree with a major in Business Administration and a minor in French.  She has additional credentials in Accelerated Linguistic Training (in El Salvador) with a major emphasis on the English language.  She is also certified as a Food and Sanitation Manager.  Outside of Coulee Christian School, she likes to spend time with her family, read, study the Bible, and exercise.  When asked to share information about herself, she wrote, "I truly LOVE serving the Lord in this capacity.  I am very blessed each day as I have the privilege to work with the students and see their potentials, seeing how God has gifted them individually with their talents and personalities.  It is a joy to work with the little ones, all the way up to the high schoolers.  God has also blessed me with wonderful coworkers.  I don't consider this a job but rather see it as an opportunity to serve the Lord and invest my time toward the Heavenly Kingdom."  Mrs. Ross's favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:6.
