Physical Education Courses
Students
will focus on the concepts of physical
fitness with an emphasis on healthy
living and good sportsmanship.
Students will also learn the rules of
different team and individual
activities.
Students
are required to complete one and a half
(1.5) credits in Physical Education for
graduation.

This
course will offer the opportunity for
students to positively experience a
variety of popular sports played
today. Students will learn the
basic rules for each sport, develop or
enhance skills related to each sport,
and learn how to cooperate and play as a
team. Students will also
experience the importance of
implementing useful strategies and
tactics during competition, whether
playing individually or as a team.
This course will strongly emphasize that
students give their best attitude and
effort, as well as show improvement
during each unit. In turn, this
will allow for potential growth in the
five pillars of our school's mission
statement.

Sports & Activities

activities; these sports and activities
can be played throughout one's life,
regardless of age. Students will
learn the basic rules for each sport or
activity while developing and enhancing
one's skills playing as a team or on an
individual basis. This course will
strongly emphasize that students give
their best attitude, effort, and show
improvement during each unit. In
turn, this will allow for potential
growth in the five pillars of our
school's mission
statement.
