Academics

Coulee Christian School has established goals in regards to the academic courses we offer.  Our curriculum goals are:

  1. Students will view the world from a Christian perspective in which all people are created by God, need a Savior, and experience a deepening life-long relationship with Christ.

  2. Each student will realize his/her unique gifts from God and identify how to use their talents/abilities to serve the body of Christ.

  3. Students will grow in character, develop tools to live a Christian life, and display confidence in personal Christian convictions.

  4. Students will share salvation knowledge with others, developing a love and respect for all people.

  5. Students will demonstrate knowledge in basic content areas (including technology) and apply critical problem solving in their lives.  In order to develop these critical thinking skills, we have chosen to use several curriculum companies based on which ones best meet our students' needs.  A majority of our curriculum is Christian so that we can integrate Scripture into each subject.

  6. Students will learn and implement basic pro-social skills, cultivating an attitude of joy and thankfulness.

  7. Students will project responsible Christ-centered citizenship for the benefit of our society and the world.
